OK, just got in my new Sapphire X800XT PE and installed it on my Dothan rig, along with a Zalman 7000 cu on the proc. I'm running the catalyst 5.7 drivers and everything at stock speed on the vid card.
okay I finallly got my drivers working correctly when I upgraded to 5.10 drivers
This is with the x800pro card. It's still not as good as the earlier post (a few posts up) that I got 47k with the 9800pro.. , but its a WHOLE lot better than the score I got while I was using the old drivers and had problems. I was getting about 20k.
This is stock 475/450:
This is the overclock 551/565:
Whats the problem does anyone know? I know a re-install of Windows would probably fix it... but its not that big of a deal to me to go to all that hassle.

something isn't right ...check what processes are running in the background when you bench.
I know I can get 50k on my barton 3000+/400 w/ 9800pro.
well theres a lot of processes running, but I cant imagine any of them interfering with it. I had no programs open while running the test. Should I try it in safe mode?

no not safe mode ...but do you have anything large running ...like folding perhaps?
nope Firefox, GAIM, and all the programs were closed. I had Thunderbird-Tray running I'm sure and a few other system tray things but they don't take up much CPU usage or anything.
also, under the SmartGART tab in Control Panel, what should the AGP setting be on? It defaulted at OFF. Just thought that was weird - should I change it to 8x?

Just got in my replacement mobo from when i fried my old AN7 nailing 63k. This is score from the settings that i first booted at. Thursday, i'm planning on 67k or so. ~9k cpu score if what i'm trying works.
After some tweaking I managed to get 2600 prime stress stable.
I'm running the cpu @ 2600 (260x10) and mem @ 237 (3-3-2-8-1t)
The 7800gt was auto overclocked so I have no idea what frequency it was running at the time.
