welcome to the team freya!
we are always "may not be much" away from finding a cure.
Man, that says it!
Who can say what bit of information will be enough to put us over the top?
Like you, freya, my family has been hit hard by just about every single one of the diseases being targeted by this research. If the time my computer would otherwise spend just spinning its wheels idly can make a difference, I'm happy to join in the fight.

I love my job... but my Main passion is computers. I love to build them breaking them and fixing them.
I have found myself in on Folding for less tahn a day and I am freaking going crazy about...you guys are right it is addicting....I plan to run Folding as long as i can and help team 93 get into the top 10. I can only hope my 22 CPU's will help, I am working on getting another 8 to add to my banK
I am a big computer guy, I love to build them and fix them and upgrade like weekly...It is a really bad habbit. but If you ever need a part of a computer built give me a call, as I can work some magic. http://www.mandmcr.com

Welcome Mr. Q!
Welcome Mr. S!
Q - another seasoned, mature (old) member. You joing a fine group. Of course, I'm very, very young, myself.
I don't think i've ever introduced myself to all of you.
My names Trent, i live in a boring old place called Olathe (suburbs of the ghetto known as Kansas City) in the far upper west part of kansas. I was first lead here way back when about 3 years ago for problems with a toolbar i couldn't get rid of, I had remembered about this site about 4 months ago and thought i'd check up on it and see what the forums are like and have been hooked on short-media like stink to **** ever since! . I heard about folding and jumped on the train immediatly because a very loved and close cousin of mine has parkinsens disease and it has caused many difficulties in her life (She owns a salon and was the head stylist there) and i thought this would be a way to help her. You guys have been great help with any problems i have had and i appreciate that very much.
My hobbies also include: Long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, working out, and a good portion of METAL with every day.
