    OMG unibrou is soooo good! i know in the states you have the Terrible, but up here we have more than 15 different kinds! the Eau Bénite (holy water) and Don de dieu (gift from god) are 2 of my favourite, and the Fin du Monde (end of the world) is one of my "regular" beer, at 9% alcohol. it's literally the beer that i've drank the most often, since up here it's rather cheap and available everywhere. Every time i speak with tourist i highly suggest them a Unibrou product... (i'm a bartender!)

    We can get all Unibroue beers in the states. I'm a huge fan of Maudite and their annuals are usually really good. I believe I've had the 14, 15, and 17. Fin du Monde is not really my style. I've never seen the Eau Bénite, though, that sounds interesting.

    yeah Eau Bénite and the 1837 are really rare. some of the Éphémère are good, if you are into fruit beer...(the green apple one is availlable all the time, but the name means ephemeral, which means they dont stay for long... currently we still have the black current one, which is from last year... this year we didnt get a new one since they release the Chambly Blonde. in the past we had raspberry, peach, strawberry, among the one i can remember!) the best one was the Quelque Chose (literally means "something", as in "this is something else"!) it was a Kriek (or cherry beer) that could be served either chilled to 0C (or 36F) or heated as a warm beverage for an after-ski or one of those pesky winter nights we have up here... i haven't seen it in 5 years though... for a more "average beer" or something more accessible to the "commoner" the U as a blonde, red and honey beer, or else you go for the Chambly which has blonde, white, and black. Maudite is also one of those i've drank too much over the years... (it's a red beer after all, and at 8% you're in for an awesome night!)

    Drinking a stout called "There is no Santa" from Brewdog. It actually tastes like Christmas!

    Brewdog is kinda hard to come by 'round here, which makes it quite expensive, but I like their beers a lot. How much does an average bottle go for over there?

    Punk IPA, Trashy Blonde and 5am Saint all run for £1.49 (14 NOK) per 330ml bottle.
    It's pretty easy to come by as it's brewed 40 miles up the coast and they even have their own bar here.

    I was actually for sending some of their Paradox whisky cask matured stuff to ya for sekrit santa before I checked the customs regs. =/

    It is a light colored Porter, unfliterd, mighty tasty and plenty strong.
    16.9 oz at 8.2% is like three beers in one.

    Basil, I dare say the Ola Dubh 40 is the greatest beer I have ever had.
    We can fix that. Ola Dubh is good, but there are much more spectacular stuff out there. Of course, by now, you've had the Westy 12, so yeah...;)

    I've been working for 7 straight days and 9 of the past 10. Too tired to drink, the will just isn't there. California has a law saying that you are paid double on the 7th day...of the work week. This will only be my 5th straight day working this work week. Bunch of bs that makes me want to drink, but there is that lack of will to drink again.

    Oh and I work again tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday. FML. Someone pour me some shots as soon as I get off Monday?

    me and my gf got back from watching battleship. snuck in tequila and rum coke mix and drank through every bad one liner, cliche, and cgi porn fest there was.
