JUNE 23rd-27th, 2010
In whispered words of legend,
In muttered tones of awe...
The Expo Icrontic is the biggest Icrontic event of the year.
It's the reason our community's members save up their vacation time. People arrive from near and far, from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and beyond.
If you want to truly become an Icrontian, there is no better fast track than making an appearance at the "Woodstock" of Icrontic events: EXPO 2010.
The Food Tour, Duct Tape Challenge, Boardgaming, LAN tent, and Daybreak Golf (bring clubs!) will return, and we have several more fun events planned. Expect plenty of card-flopping as well. There will be tournaments for Team Fortress 2, Shattered Horizon, and Left 4 Dead 2.
Door prizes will be plenty, and tickets will be awarded for participation in sanctioned gaming tournaments and other events.
Sponsors include: Steelseries, Sumo Lounge Furniture, LiquidWeb, AMD, NZXT, EA Games, ECS, Sapphire, Shuttle, OCZ Technology, Gigabyte, and Paradox Games. A full list of sponsors and prizes can be found here.
The Event Schedule has been posted as well.
NEW THIS YEAR:
- A second port-a-potty
- Reduced ticket prices for early-bird registrations and those staying in hotels
- more, more more
Buy your tickets before May 1st to get early-bird pricing.
The Icrontic Promiseâ„¢: You will have the time of your life.

Also, Koreish, make your next post count!
I cannot WAIT.
This will be interesting, I'm going to be flying to this event. I'll have to figure out if I'm flying to the D, or flying to South Bend to ride with whoever in my area goes - Bindle, Grimnoc, Chip Dapper, Hitman, Kingpin, Weezer (lol yeah right)
YES! THE RETURN OF SHORTY! DO WANT!
With gaming wife-to-be in tow as well. She is a MEAN MW2 player. Going to have to get her up to speed with PC gaming before June!!
We've had a facebook group for years.
P.S. I'm sorry for referring to all Icrontic members as "liches."
P.P.S. No I'm not.

I take it "Hotel Admission" is the price for people that are staying in hotel rooms instead of at HQ? Can someone recommend a not-so-shady inexpensive hotel nearby? No offense, but I don't think I'm going to be crashing at HQ again.
