I cut the cost down by just brining a box of cereal for breakfast and only eating that meal out on the OPH trip and eating previous nights leftovers for lunch each day. Doesn't really cut the cost down tho, i wind up just buying more beer/booze.
I can't stop laughing about EPIC Mead... somebody's going to end up making it this year.
Who said he was joking about doing that?

I cut the cost down by relying on my stores of fat, which I augment by making every stop on the food tour. Which doesn't save any money in the long run.
In all honesty Chris, I've survived on around $30 a day. I make almost every food tour stop (and it is certainly worth it), but I don't eat terribly lavishly. But then again I don't do some of the extra, slightly expensive stuff like Golf. I just booze around, play games, and talk to my friends. Then eat.
I did buy a hat at Henry the Hatter last year, best $45 I ever spent.
So it all depends on what you want to do. Definitely do the food tour, but it is possible to cheap out on breakfast and lunch.
Sounds good, we'll see what the job brings but I'm hopeful! What I really would love to do is spend a day or two in Minneapolis with family and then hit New Glarus on the way to Detroit. I've been hearing legends about New Glarus beers for years but since you can't get them outside of Wisconsin. It's all up in the air right now.

I really want to come two weeks in advance and leave two weeks after, was a goddamn BLAST last year! Unfortunately, I doubt my schedule will allow that... I think. Going back on board 2. march, will check the calendar then. Chances are, I'll have vacation by then, but then again, I'm not the luckiest of people.
I have bad news, I can't make it this year after all. I'm beginning to think I'll never be able to attend one of these events. I'll try again next year.

...Probably explains why I'm so damn skinny.

Ditto.... but it explains why I've gained wait. I guess I'm too pretty for Magic.

If you do, bring some with you to EPIC, I'll buy a few sixers off ya.
Oh of course, if I do make it I expect I'll be picking up extra for others
And the hat. And then the banner. And then the universe.
And then he'd try to hump Kaiser some more.
All the while he has that goofy grin on his face....
