    I suppose it would be entirely possible to open an old save file and copy Hometree back into the map using an editor....

    Server is up and running.

    It may be down from time to time today still, but mods have been updated so we are back in business.

    Sorry guys, I have to get a PSU in the machine. I will do my best today, but mom is having surgery, so I doubt it.

    Not a problem. Looks like some time this week Notch might have AMP health fixed, fall damage notwithstanding. So this might be a good transition time to a new map.

    We should not transition to a new map until the patch is in, and we have announced an official launch date of the new version of the server. I don't want anyone to be qqbutthurt because they didn't know when the new MC server was going live.

    BTW, How are we handling that? We just announcing a date and then Wild West style land grab? or maybe a main neighborhood where we each have a small plot of land and we branch out from there?

    Any thoughts on that?

    Everyone will spawn in the same spot. It's how the server handles it by default. If people want to die, I'm sure they can enjoy running off into the wilderness, but safety in numbers this time.
