I've got a few things to do after work today but once I head home and get settled I'll hit up anyone that has shown interest and we'll mess around for a bit :-D
Two new tours were released with new drops from them. There is now a "less hard" 'hard" and "more hard" tour. The original tour is considered the "hard" tour.

Diamond botkillers? There is a Minecraft joke in there but I'm too tired to come up with something

Tonight our team of six (@midga, @cb, @trooster89, @farge, @koreish, and myself) tried the new Expert mode of Decoy, "Desperation". It was significantly more difficult than the original missions.
We're not exactly slouches at this game. Some of us are on our 3rd or 4th tours. We're not terrible, we know our roles, we're pretty good.
But we didn't even beat wave 1 of Desperation. We tried about 10 times and got so frustrated we gave up. The AI seems to have been improved, the bots will circle around and flank now, they have increased weapon, damage, and health buffs, and they seem to move faster.
It's gonna take a while to get really good at this mode, but in the end it'll be good practice for the rest of the game. It makes the original missions look like cakewalk now.

The MIDI interface software, or the game where you win a cake?
So yeah, when you go to try out expert, don't start on Decoy. I knew it was going to be a bad idea, but I figured Prime wanted to recreate our first night of MvM or something XD Also, when you go back to Hard from Expert, don't forget that Hard hasn't gotten any easier... I'm sorta curious to see if they ever build up the difficulty to a point where it becomes exclusive. That is, if they make it so hard that we just can't get through it. I'm pretty sure expert isn't going to be like that; it's obviously doable. It's just going to take learning the new AI. I'm totally psyched about it. I want in on future matches. FYI, though, I will mostly not be surplussing unless it's a full-surplus match. That extra $2 a game adds up.
