For the live action movie, Leishi, is it still Super Eurobeat or whatever their name is that did the music for the TV show?
the music in the live action is more like hip hop, no eurobeat in the movie, which a lot of the initial d fans loved, but not in the live action movie, too bad.
On the way home from work I rocked my face off to Behind Blue Eyes by The Who. I'd entirely forgotten how awesome the original sounds as opposed to Durst's version, and how it's been too long since I've given The Who a good, hard listen. So I cranked it. And it was goooood.
Pelican - Red Ran Amber CSNY - Our House No Knife - This Moonlife

*Kriss Kross will make ya... jump! jump!* Loved that song... when I was 8 and had my parent bought pants backwards Well by today's standards, it still sounds pretty good.
Currently listening to Shakira's older spanish songs.
This is TOO funny! He takes popular songs (Hate To Say I Told You So, Baby Got Back, Rape Me, What's My Age Again, Let's Get It Started, Hey Ya, Milkshake, etc etc) from all different genres, and covers them. Only... he does it awesomely. He makes it all poppy, with jazzy beats. It's meant to be half-serious and half-hilarious. It is indeed freakin' hilarious. Definitely check it out!
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Mo' Chicken-Let's Get Funky Dakota Dakota - Hamburger Help Us (even though it's funny, it's amazing music) TISM (This Is Serious, Mum) - Somebody Start a Fight or Something
It's hard to tell if that last band, TISM, are leaning towards comedy or real rock 'n' roll. It's fun(ny) either way, so who cares!
schwaip,
you have a very eclectic mix there. I'm currently jamming to Accuradio's Listening Post....great way to sample new, different, and unknown tunes...they are currently streaming Coldplay, The White Stripes, Audioslave, Oasis, The Eels, Embrace, The Dave Matthews Band, The Raveonettes, and Belle & Sebastian.
Seriously one of my favorite bands. There's just enough post-rock, noise, and spastic-ness to make it excellent. Not suited for everyone or for use as relaxing background music, though
Don Caballero - American Don Tarantula - Tarantula
The Decemberists - The Gymnast, High Above the Ground Hundred Hands - Dude, You're Drunk Sigur Ros - Leit Af Lifi (recycled by Thor)
And the rain. We're gonna be getting some pretty wicked storms here pretty quick. It's been lightning all night, and the skies just opened up for a few minutes. I hope we lose power (don't know why, I just love the feeling of being forced away from everything that keeps us "connected")

I love thunderstorms, partially because power outages are cool, and partially because thunder + lighning rock
