Odd that you omitted Canada from your list, prime. Are they not "foreign" enough for you? ;) :canflag:

Well, I jokingly mentioned coming to SM Lan 2007 for my 25th wedding anniversay in the SM Lan 2006 video thread. Today, I said something to wife about it and she said: "We can do that if you want". :D

We're still working on the actual details, but we might be going to Kalamazoo (we spent part of our honeymoon there) so I would be in the general area of Warren (about 2 hours away?).

Anyway, if it works out, we might stop by, but probably won't stay for the whole Lan party. More to follow...

I looked it up on Mapquest and it was around 2 - 1/2 hours. Not much difference there. :)

Best I remember, it's a place called "Three Mile Lake". My wife's aunt lives there.

Is the six player expansion needed for settlers? I happen to have it. I also have a sweet game called Zombies!!! that can be quite entertaining.

And I saw some people playing M:tG in the video. I'm bringing my deck.

The more the merrier. That was Sharky and I playing MTG. :)

Don't worry about Settlers expansions, my boxes include:

    Settlers of Catan
    Settlers of Catan 5-6
    Cities and Knights
    Cities and Knights 5-6
    The Catan Event Deck
    The River of Catan

The only stuff I don't have is the Seafarers sets.

I also have Entdeker (The Explorers), which is another game designed by Klaus Tauber of Catan. It will be brought.

I guess I should get on that 'registering for the LAN' thing... :dunce:

Slots are going way faster this year... We're 4 months out with only 15 slots left. That's where we were at the end of April last year! :eek3:

Do we allow slot speculation? I could buy them all and then resell them at inflated prices after a couple more months when our stock price is higher. And after we go public.

Wowzers, bowzers and great big honkin bean burritos batman!

I can't wait and just may sell my Kona time slot to stay longer this year.

Who would be interested in more grill action if we could come up with a REAL grill this year? Sorry Brian but that is really a poor excuse for even a yankee grill. ;) If we could come up with some old refrigerator racks we could dig a pit! :)
