Me thinks he was referring to an image of the Icrontinent.
(I can only deduce this because I was on the server when Ryder and CF were discussing it)
Haha, in hindsight, this makes a lot more sense. Sorry Cannonfodder, though I couldn't pass up letting slip a smug comment.
And yeah, Ryder is trying to work on it as we speak. The mapping program is a little bit buggy, so it may not work tonight. But at the very least he's got a 2D map that worked.
Also, it looks like someone hiked a long way east for almost no reason.
I don't know why the map suddenly goes east in the little sliver.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I almost want to suggest using a map editor to delete that expansive Eastern stretch. It's a waste of space on the server.
I'm actually a little annoyed by this. I'm all for expansion, but the "walk 50 miles" trip is kind of silly and irreversible (without a map editor's intervention).
It looks like North wasn't "up-right" in this render (according to Castle Icrontic), but honestly I don't mind terribly. I'm just happy to have an updated isometric map, so I can at-a-glance see what everyone's been working on since the last iso map.
Up left is what I told it to do, you wanted up right?
If it doesn't take very long to render using the app you're using, sure I'd love to see what an "up-right" would look like. If anything, it would help me orient myself better.
Also, what app are you using to replace Cartographer?
Cartograph only works if you copy the world folder from the server into one of the world folders in the .minecraft AppData directory for your user account. It's a gigantic pain in the ween.

...Or you could specify the server's map location in the custom spot. I'll admit it does take a bit of time to type it in, but it does work fine.
This update is going to be incredible. This is just what we need. I'm not having much fun anymore because we've done so much. This update will introduce some fantastic new challenges.
Random stretches of snow and sand will be GREAT.
And hey, this new Hell dimension solves all of our quick travel problems. Lets just hope there is absolutely no way for the ghasts to get out. Imagine the havoc that would cause to our homes.
If they don't implement multi-player damage in this update I will cry. This looks absolutely amazing and I am pretty sure everyone will agree with me when I say it's time to make some hell.

Here is a normal map.

Isometric is a complete bust tonight, I don't know WTF is going on.

I do have a house some where in the wild that I have set as my home.
Yeahhhhhhh, Nova Schin!
When I saw how well it turned out on the map, I lol'd.
Thought you might wanna see that: Apparently the old Cartographer crashed if a sign had the word "Blocks" (capital B) anywhere on the map.
Hopefully I got the coords right in this one.

wow, there is so much out there I haven't seen - crazy!

You are the man, Ryder!
Not as of the versions released up until about two weeks ago. The program crashed every time.
