I bought it from China via a TaoBao agent to save a few bucks. You can get it for about $40 more from here, the cheapest you'll find it without dealing with TaoBao.
In other watch reltated news, I've got a major geek crush on Valjoux 7733 (and 7734) chronos from the 70s. A simple eBay search for "vintage 7733" brings up TONS of crazy 3-register sport chronos with awesome faces from all sorts of small brands that eventually died in the Great Quartz Boom.
If someone wants to be blown away by watches, consider looking at these brands:
Greubel Forsey RGM Breguet Blancpain Thomas Prescher Patek Philippe Jaeger Le Coultre Glasshütte Original Nomos Glasshüte A. Lange & Söhne Longines Baume et Mercier IWC Schaffhausen Jean Dunand Vacheron Constantin
Vostok Amphibia @Gattsu. http://stores.ebay.com/zenitar-store The best thing is the price. The worst thing is the metal bracelet will rip all the hair from your arm if it gets within 5 feet.
Both of these are pure insanity in the best way possible. The fact that the sidereal watch does it all mechanically is just mind-blowing, and surely driven by black magic somehow. The triple-axis tourbillon is a boner-inducing wonder of engineering.
Same watch, just a different dial design. Also a very good movement, the Sea-Gull ST25. Make sure to check jacksontse.com as well, and make accounts on both sites so you can see the lowest prices. They trade off with respect to who's cheaper, and they're both reliable.
It's $60 shipped for a Sea-Gull watch built for the Maurice Blum name. This is a true bargain for a really great watch. I'd get it myself, but non-white/silver dials just aren't for me.

Yup, I signed up for manbush and parniswatches last night while I was looking around. I haven't seen a place to signup on jacks though... Am I just missing it?

I need one on a rally strap. Baaaaaaad
No idea about the inner workings of the watches, but so pretty. So expensive.
I ended up looking at these 3 the most:

So pretty. Oh dear god so expensive.

For example, consider the IWC Schaffhausen Portuguese Sidérale Scafusia or the Thomas Prescher triple-axis tourbillon.
Brushed case with polished sides, mineral glass bezel, a different (stiff) bezel ring, and solid link steel bracelet that won't rip your arm off.

And there was much rejoicing.
I hope you're happy with yourself.
