Good stuff. Have you heard the Iron & Wine cover of Such Great Heights? I'm not sure which Postal Service CD the cover is on (I have it on vinyl), but I know it's on the Garden State sndtk.

Yep, it's pretty good, though completely different than the original. Somehow they made it work while totally changing the style. Great band(s).

    Edit:
    Must. Post. Music.

Do Make Say Think - Minmin
The Go! Team - Bottle Rocket
Kings of Convenience - Little Kids (Lively Version)

Oh man. I had Lucero on while driving to work this morning but I just switched it to Against Me! for lunch. First time I saw them live they rocked my lame ass. Good stuff.

I'm actually listening to the Wired magazine free CD and its quite good. Mainly urban-type music.

The Eagles - The Last Resort

    Just thought I'd comment...

Ya know, I thought that was the only decent track the Eagles made after their previous album, which I think was Desperado, although me memory's going, hehe... :D But I do love that track.

Early Eagles = Good, especially Desperado. Eagles including and after Hotel California = not so good, in fact - bland. imho :o

And right now, me checking out Bloc Party, a local band who may just make it.

Three songs. Over an hour total. A-effing-mazing. I never cared for their other albums (just a notch too slow for me most times) but this is incredible. I'm definitely gonna buy this one. Along with some others I've been meaning to get for awhile now:

Do Make Say Think - Goodbye Enemy Airship, The Landlord Is Dead
