My stepdad's classic rock cover band playing in the basement (and stuff is still shaking two floors up ).
Other than that, I've been having such an amazing week that music kind of faded away (gasp!). When I do listen, it's been a lot of Explosions in the Sky (mostly "How Strange, Innocence" - the original, though. The "remastered" sounds a little too puffy or something). Also a lot of Larsen and Pelican.
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Have you ever seen the rain? /// Lookin' Out my back door /// Fortunate Sun(One of my favorite songs evvvvvvvvvvver...I MEAN EVER)
Dillinger Four - Fuzzy Pink Handcuffs Dillinger Four - "I Was Born on a Pirate Ship" (Holdyourtongue) Dillinger Four - File Under "Adult Urban Contemporary" Toys that Kill - Lil' Bit Stranger
Finntroll - Trollhammaren (was described to me as "death metal polka." It's kind of like a much heavier Flogging Molly, with some polka ) Nurse With Wound and Hafler Trio - The Murray Fontana Orchestra Plays The Hafler Trio part 2 (two great things combined into one. This is GREAT music to blare out the windows for Halloween... definitely scare the kiddies!) Milemarker - Sun Out
40,000,000,000 watts of Audiobahn BASS and 4,000,000,000 amps of death powering South Park Mexican, Insane Clown Posse, Slim Thug, Kanye West, Linkin Park, and Techno/House/Trance.
well i went to see slipknot, unearth, and dillinger escape plan saturday... so i listened to that. amazing show if you like rock music. lamb of god lead singer joined unearth for part of their set. it was awesome. had a great time gettin smashed against the front row fence.
Japancakes - A Short Mile 65daysofstatic - Just watched their DVD, and it's really sweet Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies - The Pitch and Yaw of Satellites
Today everything is at 33rpm. Ah, pure analog goodness. My favorites for the evening:
Bob Dylan - Señor (Tales of Yankee Power)
Album: Street Legal Cat Stevens - Another Saturday Night
Album: Greatest Hits Iron & Wine - Such Great Heights (B-side cover)
Album: The Postal Service's Give Up
[V][AGIC']...had a great time gettin smashed against the front row fence.
Heh, last time I went to a big outdoor concert I got smashed up against the front. It was muddy, cold, and the people behind me were vast in numbers and intoxicated beyond belief. The drunken hoard was ok for the opening acts (which was what I was really there to see), but by the time Staind took the stage, the crowd went nuts. I wouldn't have stayed there and put up with it if I could have even dreamed of escape.
ya last weekend was nothing compared to a couple years ago i saw system of a down, they were teh first headline band and when they came on omfg i though i was gunna die against that fence. one of the best shows ive ever seen though.
Oh. My. GOD. I've been waiting for this since forever and a half, and I totally missed its release. Damnit. But it's all good, because it's great. Not as good as How Strange, Innocence, not even close. But then again, nothing has compared to that, and I'm only on the first listen of this album.
This has just been an amazing night for me. Pep band again (only the third and last time this year :shakehead). Got my new car (I went with the Sunfire ). There's this girl I like who I'm getting along with really good (like, better than usual good).

Saw slipknot, lamb of god, and shadows fall last april and it was a great show. And i think everyone got smashed agains the fence. Sat. I'll be seeing slipknot, undearth, sevendust, as i lay dying, federation of horsepower, and a local band called the leo project.
Sage Francis - Sea Lion... interesting song. It's rap, which I usually hate, but it's not about "bitches, money, and cars." It's also got Bonnie 'Prince' Billy singing in the background. Saxon Shore - How We Conquered the Western World on Horseback... I can't belive this is the first I've heard these guys. For shame. Get Him Eat Him - One word
The sound of another gig of ram comming I am going to sell my 512MB DDR2 Samsung RAM to accomidate for my other stick of RAM so I can run dual channel mode.

catchy little tune, Bon Jovi rules and a pretty clever little music video to boot for this single.
I love this album. I think I'll need to play Blueberry Boat after this to keep from becoming infested with rage.

Probably their best and most mature song made.
