Numbers coming tonight!!! :) ehh Im so excited to see what I can punch out of this bad boy. I have it all configured and tested and running very much 100% stable at a 8% overcloked...so now I am ready to do my 3D mark tests... I had to make sure I could run games and do all my applications without the Overclocking taking me to the Blue sreen of death.

The new revised specs are in my sig :)

As far as I can tell, it say both are running the same numbers, I will probably throttle it back to 470's on the core and 1.28 on the ram...just so it runs better. it seems a bit unstable at the setting I have now, but Ntune gives me no errors yet :) same with cool bits :)

That is why I let it run for the last 4 days :) just to make sure there is no errors, I am taking DanG's advice and running Folding on it 24/7 along with my niffty Batch file I cretaed to run my computer over a 24 hour time pierod :) and check for flaws and defects in harware , It should be finishing in about 4 hours so I can run my 3Dmark benchies than :)

That has to be one of the highest X850 score I have seen in a long while! Nice job! but can you put that in a Crossfire and catch my 7800GT's :)

What type/model of Video card do you have in your machine Swipester? If it does not fully support DirectX9, it may not run 3DMark05..

    my system is a 3000+ venice, OC'd to 2.2ghz with an x850XT.

My 3dmark05 score was 6300... is this about average for my system?

I have a more important question to ask all of you experts :) I ran 3dmark01 SE... I had a score of 23000ish... but my environment bump mapping score was an absolutely horrible 73fps.. compared to 600+fps for all x850xts.

what could be the reason for this?

Yeah your score is about right for your system. Check mine for comparison if you like (see sig). Mine's around 6800 but it's overclocked albeit with a softmodded XT800gto2.

I used to get 2100 off my xp 3200+ 400fsb on a good day

This new technology is off the hissy, evga sli board, evga 7800 gt PCI-E, 2 gigs pc3200 oc'd, nVidia everything, and fx-53 oc'd to 2.5 ghz water cooled.
Not done with it yet I think I cab squeeze more out of it.
