Ok, guys, no AF/AA and what resolution? 1024x768, or does it automatically choose a default one??

The current version is locked to the correct settings :)

Awesome ... I suppose ... see, it's good for standards. Bad for folks like me who could go, "Oh, I had the resolution way too high is all..." ;)

Lol, but it's depressing! :p I'm like "Woohoo, my first computer I ever built!" (no, that effect still hasn't worn off! :)) and to see it get pummelled in light of all the new technology is, well, disconcerting lol. I'm so tempted to build a new one from scratch ... just have to keep telling myself it does what it needs to for the next 3 years (gonna build top-o-the-line system before college)...but it's tough, lol.

edit: Shorty, WTF is up with all the different Quote formats?

I think my scores pretty good but I know it's gonna get creamed by someone by the time I wake up tomorrow morning ;D

Get used to it, there is always someone with a better system ;)

Be happy with what ya got, if it does what ya need and works well.. that's more important than a synthetic benchmark :)

Well This is the first benchmark where overclocking my cpu had 0 effect. my 1st attemp was 1933 after I overclocked my video card it only went up 100 points. No matter what I put my cpu at it wouldn't budge past 2034.

    xp2500m @ 2500mghz
    ati 9500 pro

*will work for new video card. :bawling:

System in sig (and in compare link for more detail).

It's times like this that prove even the deepest wallets don't always get the highest benchmarks (as is the case with the A64 machine Brian had built for a customer).

Any idea why I'm scoring so low? Only high 3000s with A64 3500+ / 6800 GT all stock, i've tried cool 'n quiet on and off, and it made no difference.. 61.77 nvidia drivers

Take ya time to tweak ya system before a run :)

Make sure you have high performance settings in your display adapter settings & turn off antivirus & unnecessary programs/services :)

It could be lots of things - have you checked your system for spyware or other background processes? Shut off your Antivirus software while running the benchmark. There are a ton of factors that dictate system performance.....

Give us as much info as you can, but not in this thread :) Start a thread in the graphics/video forum and the pros here will help you tweak your system for sure.

The new ATI beta's does wonders for their 256mb cards. I got a 1200 points increase just by changing the driver.
